Dr. Jodi Danna

Over the course of her 25-year dental career, Dr. Danna has received a lot of attention. For example, from 2006 through 2020, she was recognized as one of the Top 100 Dentists in the country by the Consumers Research Council of America. She has also been named a “Super Dentist” by Texas Monthly from 2013-2020. Needless to say, you can trust that you’re in good hands when you’re her patient! She and the rest of our team look forward to changing the way you feel about dental care.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Danna graduated from the Baylor College of Dentistry in 1995 and received her post-graduate degree at AEGD residency in cosmetics in 1996. Since then, she has earned Fellowship status in multiple professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry in July 2000, the American College of Dentists in October 2013, and the International College of Dentists in November 2015.

Dr. Danna is one of the founding members of Berman Dental Instruments and the co-host of the Dental Slang podcast. She is a member of the following professional organizations:

Dr. Danna was honored to be the Southwest Dental Conference Chair for 2017 and was the President of the Dallas County Dental Society in 2018-2019. She is also actively involved in the Texas Dental Association as Membership Chairman. Dr. Danna loves continuing education and prides herself on completing at least 75 hours yearly.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Danna is very involved in the community and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Collin County and is on the Board of Directors of several local organizations. She is a Class 25 graduate of Leadership Plano, a community leadership development program. She supports domestic violence victims by donating emergency dental care to those in violent situations. Dr. Danna is also a mentor and preceptor for new dental assistants and college-age students looking to fulfill their dream of going to dental school.

Dr. Danna and her husband have been married for 30 years and have two children. Mallory is in the working world after graduating from the University of Alabama in 2019, and McKenna is a college senior at Texas Tech University and will continue her studies in medical school with the hopes of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
